The 2026 Buick Envision is a five-passenger compact SUV offered in three trims, from $41,000 to $50,700 MSRP excluding destination freight charge, tax, title, license and dealer fees. There is one engine across the lineup, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, driving a nine-speed automatic. Intelligent all-wheel drive with an active twin clutch is standard on every trim, not an option box, and the vehicle runs on 87-octane regular. It measures 182.7 inches long, tows up to 1,500 pounds with a properly rated conventional hitch, and puts a 30-inch diagonal ultrawide display across the dash. The Preferred trim already carries the technology that defines the car: the ultrawide display, a Head-Up Display, wireless charging, Bose nine-speaker audio and QuietTuning with Active Noise Cancellation, all standard. Sport Touring adds 20-inch Carbon Flash Metallic wheels and a sport cabin for $2,500. Avenir adds the comfort equipment for $9,700 over Preferred: a panoramic moonroof, quilted perforated leather, heated and ventilated front seats, a massaging driver seat and heated rear outboard seats. Nothing above the Preferred makes the vehicle faster or more capable. Across the Texas Hill Country, where summer runs long, that Avenir seat ventilation is a more defensible upgrade than it would be almost anywhere else.
