There is one engine and one transmission for 2026, which removes a decision most crossover shoppers have to make. The 2.0L turbo produces 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque through a nine-speed automatic. Intelligent all-wheel drive with an active twin clutch is standard on Preferred, Sport Touring and Avenir alike, so all-wheel drive is not an upcharge and not a trim gate. A five-link rear suspension and engine stop-start technology are also standard across the lineup.
The engine runs on 87-octane regular unleaded. Turbocharged engines carry a reputation for demanding premium, and Buick answers the question directly on the Envision’s own product page: regular is what it takes. Over a year of running TX-71 into town and back, that difference is the kind of thing that shows up on a statement.

Because the mechanicals never change, the ladder is entirely about wheels, seats and cabin equipment. That makes it a cleaner decision than most. All prices below are MSRP excluding destination freight charge, tax, title, license and dealer fees.
Starting at $41,000 MSRP, before destination. The entry trim is not a stripped one. Preferred includes the 30-inch diagonal screen, Google built-in compatibility, the Bose nine-speaker premium audio system, a Head-Up Display, wireless smartphone charging, OnStar Basics, and memory presets for the driver seat and side mirrors. It rides on 18-inch machined alloy wheels with a Technical Gray finish and seats in perforated leatherette, with adaptive headlights and heated mirrors. Heated front seats are not standard here; they arrive with the available Comfort and Convenience Package, which also adds a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a hands-free programmable power liftgate with LED logo projection, an in-vehicle air quality indicator, automatic air recirculation and a Universal Home Remote.
Starting at $43,500 MSRP, before destination. Sport Touring is an appearance and feel step rather than a capability one. It adds 20-inch Carbon Flash Metallic alloy wheels, gloss black grille accents, a flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel, ST-embossed front head restraints, alloy sport pedals, and perforated leather-appointed seats with suede-like leatherette inserts. Nothing under the hood changes.
Starting at $50,700 MSRP, before destination. Avenir is where the comfort equipment stops being optional. It comes with a panoramic moonroof, a hands-free programmable power liftgate with LED logo projection, quilted perforated leather-appointed seats, heated and ventilated front seats with eight-way power and four-way power lumbar, a massaging driver seat, heated outboard rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Universal Home Remote, and 20-inch alloy wheels with a Pearl Nickel finish.

One screen, edge to edge
The 30-inch diagonal ultrawide display runs the instrument cluster and the infotainment system as one continuous surface. Buick calls it the largest in its class. Google built-in compatibility is standard on every trim, as is wireless smartphone charging, the Head-Up Display that throws speed and forward collision alerts onto the windshield, and OnStar Basics with hands-free voice assistance, remote commands and Automatic Crash Response.

Quiet is the point
QuietTuning with Active Noise Cancellation is standard on all three trims, and it is the trait that separates the Envision from a mainstream compact SUV. On the RM 2244 run into Westlake, where the pavement changes surface three times in five miles, it is the difference between a conversation and a raised voice.
Seating surfaces climb from perforated leatherette on Preferred, to perforated leather-appointed with leatherette inserts on Sport Touring, to quilted perforated leather-appointed on Avenir. Ventilated front seats stop reading as a luxury line item somewhere around the third consecutive week above 100 degrees, which is a normal Texas Hill Country summer. Heated outboard rear seats and the massaging driver seat are Avenir equipment.
Five seats, two rows, light-duty hitch
The Envision seats five across two rows. There is no third row and no seven-passenger configuration, so a household that regularly carries six is shopping the wrong Buick. The rear bench splits and folds to open the load floor.
Towing is rated at 1,500 pounds with a properly rated conventional hitch on the AWD configuration, and that number governs regardless of trim. Buick’s own guidance names the honest use cases: a small utility trailer, a jet ski, a bike rack or a compact cargo carrier on a properly rated hitch. It does not name boats or campers, and neither will we. A dealer-installed hitch does not raise the factory limit. The sweet spot. For many buyers, Sport Touring. It changes what you look at and sit in, and nothing above it changes what the car does. Avenir is worth the step if the ventilated and massaging seats and the panoramic roof will get used every week.
