Yukon Technology
A 16.8-inch Google built-in touchscreen, available Super Cruise hands-free driving, and Bose audio anchor the tech in the 2026 Yukon. Here is what is standard, what is available, and what it means for Austin drivers.
The 2026 GMC Yukon centers its cabin on a 16.8-inch diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment System with Google built-in, paired with an 11-inch digital Driver Information Center and standard HD Surround Vision. From there the technology fans out by trim, climbing to available Super Cruise hands-free driving and an 18-speaker Bose sound system on the upper models. This page covers what every Yukon includes, which features are reserved for higher trims, and how the connected-driving tech fits real daily commuting.
Covert Buick GMC Bee Cave stocks the Yukon lineup at our store in Austin, and our team can walk you through the screens, audio, and driver tech in person. For the engine and trim context behind these features, see our Yukon engine and performance guide and the full trim comparison.

Infotainment
Every 2026 Yukon comes standard with the 16.8-inch diagonal Premium GMC Infotainment System, a color touchscreen running Google built-in. That means Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play are loaded right into the dash, so navigation and voice commands work without tethering a phone. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are standard as well, which keeps your phone connected without a cable on the drive into downtown Austin or out toward Lakeway.
In front of the driver, an 11-inch digital Driver Information Center is standard and reconfigurable through the steering-wheel controls, so trip, navigation, and vehicle data sit in your line of sight. The combination is the same across the lineup, from the Elevation up to the Denali Ultimate, so the core screen experience does not change as you move up in trim.
Hands-Free Driving
Super Cruise, GMC’s hands-free driver assistance technology with Hands On Steering Assist, is the headline connected-driving feature on the Yukon. It is available on the Elevation, AT4, and Denali, and comes standard on the AT4 Ultimate and Denali Ultimate, where it pairs with a 3-year OnStar One plan. On a long highway pull such as the US-183 corridor north of town, it can manage steering, speed, and following distance on compatible roads.
Super Cruise is part of a deeper driver-assistance suite that also includes standard collision-avoidance features and available Night Vision. We break those down on the Yukon safety and driver-assistance page.

Audio
The Yukon Elevation starts with a Bose 10-speaker sound system with Centerpoint surround. Step up to the AT4 Ultimate or Denali Ultimate and a Bose 18-speaker system is standard. At the top of the range, the Denali Ultimate offers available second-row executive seating with stainless steel Bose head-restraint speakers, part of an arrangement GMC lists as up to 22 total speakers. For families splitting time between school runs and weekend road trips, the upgrade is one of the clearer steps up between trims.
Cameras and Displays
HD Surround Vision is standard on every Yukon, giving you a high-definition overhead view for tight parking lots and trailer hookups. The multicolor 15-inch Head-Up Display projects speed, navigation, and alerts onto the windshield; it is standard on the Denali and Denali Ultimate, and the Elevation can add it through the available Technology package. Together with the 16.8-inch center screen and the 11-inch driver display, the Yukon keeps key information across three surfaces so you can keep your eyes up on the road.
Cabin Convenience
Available rear-seat entertainment puts dual 12.6-inch diagonal color-touch LCD screens on the back of the center console, with two HDMI ports and two Bluetooth headphone sets so second- and third-row passengers can stream on a long road trip without filling the cabin with sound. The power-sliding center console slides back up to 10 inches for extra storage; it is standard on the Denali and Denali Ultimate and available on the Elevation and AT4. An available panoramic sunroof with dual panes is standard on the AT4 Ultimate and Denali Ultimate. The myGMC mobile app and OnStar add remote start, vehicle status, and connected services from your phone.

By Trim
Standard (S) or available (A) by trim. The core connectivity is identical across the lineup; audio and Super Cruise are the features that move with trim.

Around Austin
The tech matters most for the kind of driving Yukon owners do here. Google Maps built into the dash handles real-time traffic on the daily Cedar Park or Pflugerville commute without draining a phone. Available Super Cruise takes the strain off longer highway stretches, and HD Surround Vision makes a three-row SUV easier to place in a downtown parking garage or when backing up to a trailer for a weekend haul. To see it firsthand, schedule a test drive or browse the current Yukon lineup in stock at Covert Buick GMC Bee Cave in Austin.
