Yukon Trim Levels
Five trims, two body lengths, and three engines. Here is how the Elevation, AT4, Denali, AT4 Ultimate, and Denali Ultimate compare on price, powertrain, and features for Austin shoppers.
The 2026 GMC Yukon comes in five trims that fan out from a value-focused family hauler to a six-figure luxury flagship, so the trim choice is really a choice about how much capability, technology, and material upgrade you want. Every trim is also sold in the longer Yukon XL body, which adds cargo and third-row room for about $3,000 more. This page breaks down each trim in depth, lays out a side-by-side matrix, walks the comparisons buyers actually cross-shop, and points you to the right trim for how you drive around Austin and the Hill Country.

At a Glance
The lineup is not a simple price ladder by name: the AT4 Ultimate ($97,900) sits above the Denali ($80,400) because it combines the AT4’s off-road equipment with near-flagship luxury. Head to Head
About $7,000 separates these two, and both start with the 5.3L V8. The Elevation is the rear-wheel-drive value pick with the same 16.8″ screen and available Super Cruise. The AT4 spends that gap on standard four-wheel drive, a high-approach fascia with skid plate and red recovery hooks, all-terrain tires on 20″ wheels, heated and ventilated front seats, and Magnetic Ride Control. Pick the Elevation if you mostly drive paved roads and want value; pick the AT4 if you want standard 4WD and the trail-ready stance.
These two sit close on price ($76,600 vs $80,400) but aim at different buyers. The AT4 leads with off-road hardware and the 5.3L V8 standard, with the 6.2L V8 optional. The Denali makes the 6.2L V8 standard and adds a luxury cabin, a 15″ Head-Up Display, a power-sliding console, and perforated leather, though it uses rear-wheel drive unless you add four-wheel drive for about $3,000. Choose the AT4 for capability and standard 4WD; choose the Denali for the bigger standard V8 and a richer interior.
Both run the 6.2L V8 and a leather-lined cabin, but the jump from $80,400 to $103,900 buys a lot of standard content. The Denali Ultimate makes Super Cruise, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, 24″ wheels, 16-way massaging front seats, a Bose 18-speaker system, and standard four-wheel drive part of the price, and offers second-row executive seating. The Denali leaves several of those as options. If you would option the Denali heavily, the Ultimate often makes more sense.
At the top of the lineup, these two share the 6.2L V8, standard Super Cruise, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, 16-way massaging seats, the Bose 18-speaker system, and standard four-wheel drive. The split is character. The AT4 Ultimate keeps the rugged look with Obsidian Rush full-grain leather and power-retractable assist steps. The Denali Ultimate goes full luxury with 24″ After Midnight Metallic wheels, Vader Chrome accents, and available second-row executive seating. Decide on style and stance, since the core equipment is shared.

Find Your Fit
Start with the Elevation. It carries the same big infotainment screen and three-row space as pricier trims, and you can still add four-wheel drive and Super Cruise.
The AT4 gives you the off-road fascia, all-terrain tires, Magnetic Ride Control, and standard four-wheel drive at the lowest price for that hardware. Step up to the AT4 Ultimate if you also want flagship luxury.
The Denali brings the 6.2L V8 and a leather cabin as standard. For the full luxury treatment with everything included, the Denali Ultimate is the flagship.
Super Cruise is standard on the AT4 Ultimate and Denali Ultimate and can be added to the Elevation, AT4, and Denali, so you can get hands-free highway assist at several price points.
Choose the Yukon XL version of any trim. See the Yukon vs Yukon XL comparison to decide between the two lengths, and the Yukon XL for sale page for the longer body.
